It’s amazing what you can do with so little!
Here in France, I’ve started eating a lot of canned fish. Whether it is sardines or canned albacore, I have definitely taken a new appreciation and liking to this new TREAT! I’ve also noticed that I have been taking in a lot more tomatoes lately.
Another thing I’ve noticed is the difference in the taste of the food here in France. The vegetables seem much more fresh as well as most of the other groceries that I have eaten here. Far less chemicals in the food to put it in a nutshell.
Farmers Markets have also become more of my daily routine. It’s actually a big part of the culture here in South France. 🇫🇷
So if you would like to try and make a quick and easy salad like this all you need is:
- A few leafs of lettuce
- 1 1/2 or whole tomato
- 1 or 2 mushrooms (sliced)
- 1/2 of a small white onion (sliced)
- 1/2 red bell pepper (cut)
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 can of canned Albacore
- 3 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 lime squeezed
- 2 pinches of salt
- drizzle of olive oil
- black pepper
**Please be sure a rinse off all your vegetables**
